Yellow

· 1 min read

My dad had a pool. Most people in Florida did.

The water was yellow. I never saw it clean.

My dad had a dog, two cats, and a rabbit. He went through a fish phase. Each time I went over to his house, the fish would have died and there would be a new one in its place.

My dad had psychology students. When I was little, I was one of them. He showed me pictures and asked what I noticed first.

Once I was older, my dad stopped going to my doctor’s appointments.

The pool was still yellow.

My teeth were brown.
